OPTIMARE establishes a subsidiary in India

OPTIMARE is pleased to announce the incorporation of its subsidiary OPTIMARE India. With this step, the company from Bremerhaven, Germany is responding to the growing demand for high-quality solutions for specialised aviation in the Asian region. OPTIMARE India will focus on the development and production of new technologies, thus bringing OPTIMARE's many years of experience and expertise to the Indian market.

"OPTIMARE India Pvt Ltd has been incorporated as part of the Make in India initiative in consonance with the Indian Government’s vision of a Atmanirbhar - Viksit Bharat," says Brig Manjit Singh Rana, COO of OPTIMARE India. It will also enable a joint development of new technologies working along with the major research agencies.

OPTIMARE is particularly distinguished by its many years of expertise in the development of mission systems and sensor technologies for airborne maritime surveillance. More specifically, OPTIMARE provides airborne sensors for the remote sensing of marine pollution. These sensors, in combination with the in-house mission management system MEDUSA®, have been deployed in maritime surveillance aircraft worldwide.

OPTIMARE India will exhibit at the Aero India Airshow from 10 to 14 February 2025 with its own stand (A1.2 – A1.1 in Hall A). Interested parties will have the opportunity to learn about the company's core competencies on site.
