New mission control console for MEDUSA

The OPTIMARE team is pleased to officially announce the release of the new modular mission control console of the airborne maritime surveillance system MEDUSA.

The Multifunction Operator Console (MOC) can be configured to fit into most mission aircraft. Three different variants of the MOC have already been made ready for delivery to various customers worldwide.

 

The following figure shows the MOC installed in an aircraft of type Do228.

The MOC can be equipped with a dual touchscreen section for enhanced control of the MEDUSA Mission Management System. Instead, this section can be used as a central DZUS format multi-equipment carrier. Provided that there is enough space the MOC can be equipped with a L/H and/or R/H DZUS format side carrier (see both figures).

The MOC fulfills among others the emergency landing conditions of CS-23 and CS-25.
